That was 2024 – the sovanta Highlights
At the end of the year, it’s almost a tradition to sit down and reflect. And that’s exactly what we’ve done together with the entire sovanta team. One thing is clear: 2024 was another busy year. We look back on many memorable moments, great events, exciting projects, and a lot of meaningful exchanges with SAP, other partners, and especially with our customers. 2024 was a fantastic year that further shaped us as a team and refined our portfolio. Below, we’ll take a look at our highlights from the past twelve months with the help of five powerful images:
1. BTP Squad on Tour
The BTP Squad and our clear positioning as a SAP partner specialized in BTP have strongly shaped our year. Especially at fairs and events, we were able to make a strong impact both visually and, most importantly, content-wise. Whether it was the keynote at the BTP Innovation Day in Essen or six stage appearances at the DSAG Jahreskongress in Leipzig – we were able to highlight key topics ranging from Clean Core and Extension to Integration and AI. Our HXM Squad was also on the move, impressing at the DSAG Personaltage, as well as our XM Squad at the XM Live Event by Qualtrics. Digitally, there was a lot going on as well – we were thrilled with the consistently positive feedback on our Webinars. More to come in 2025. Stay tuned!
2. sovanta America Inc.
The first full year for sovanta America Inc. is coming to an end. The decision to expand into the U.S. with sovanta has proven to be absolutely the right one. From Newtown Square to Chicago, Miami, and Palo Alto, we’ve already had discussions with many organizations about SAP BTP, especially in connection with Clean Core. In addition to great contacts with the local SAP team, we were particularly pleased with how well our collaboration with ASUG has worked in such a short time. Alongside the regional ASUG Chapter Meetings, the ASUG Tech Connect in November was a major highlight this year. We will kick off the new year in the U.S. on February 4th with a Clean Core Pop-up Workshop, where there are still a few spots available – the location will be announced soon.
3. BTP Center of Excellence (CoE)
As a BTP specialist, we have also dedicated ourselves to building a BTP Center of Excellence (CoE). Because only with a solid foundation can our customers truly scale on the BTP. We took the stage with OGE at the DSAG Jahreskongress and with Gebrüder Heinemann at the DSAG Technologietage to share our joint success story. These two customers were just the beginning, and many more have followed. Our services “Roadmap to CoE” and “CoE Starter” have become established as the ideal approach on the path to a CoE. The CoE story was an absolute highlight this year, and we are excited to continue driving this topic forward in 2025.
4. Diamond Initiative: SAP BTP Appreciation Award
As part of the SAP Diamond Initiative, we received the SAP BTP Appreciation Award this year. The sovanta team has generated significant visibility for BTP across various industries and has consistently demonstrated exceptional implementation capabilities in numerous successful projects related to SAP BTP. The award has made us incredibly proud on many levels and further emphasizes that SAP BTP and sovanta make a truly strong team. This is also reflected in our continuously growing Use Case Repository, where we describe exciting use cases in the BTP environment.
5. sovanta Innovation Factory for SAP BTP
With the Innovation Factory for SAP BTP, we have not only created a home for all our services and content, but we are also gradually making them accessible to our customers. Around formats like Workflow Starter, AI Discovery, and Roadmap to Data Governance, we have developed a detailed roadmap of all activities, related services, and use cases. This unique data foundation not only makes it possible to work more efficiently but also allows our team to scale to its maximum potential. This is how we are starting the new year with full power.
