COCON 2023 – sovanta HXM Squad on Tour
The Copetri Convention around people, transformation and innovation took place in Offenbach for the second time. One innovation this year: sovanta was there as an exhibitor. We were particularly looking forward to this somewhat different trade fair concept, a festival atmosphere with a Ferris wheel, speed dating and interactive workshops. And, of course, we were looking forward to the direct exchange with HR managers from very different industries. Our conclusion: We were not disappointed. Here we have summarized our highlights of the two days.
HR is changing
On the agenda were many offers around transformation, change management, employer branding and of course ChatGPT could not be missing. Human resources work is in a state of flux and this was clearly noticeable at the Copetri Convention. Standing still, only managing personnel and not promoting them, is no longer an option for HR. Everyone is looking for innovative approaches, new ways and, of course, the right tools to significantly improve and simplify HR processes. SAP SuccessFactors often already plays a major role in these discussions. However, it quickly became clear that a decision for or against a technology often cannot yet be made. First, companies need to understand what their requirements are and how they fit with the SAP offering, for example.
Our Offering: SAP HXM Discovery Workshop
At our booth, we talked intensively about the SAP HXM Roadmap and HR IT strategy. In the process, we heard several requests for guidance through the SAP tool world. And this is of course an absolute sovanta topic. With our offering “SAP HXM Discovery Workshop” we do exactly that, we look under the hood together with our customers, bring transparency into the SAP HXM offering and match it with real use cases. The result is a clear roadmap for a sustainable development plan. And of course, together with the customers, we also determine what they don’t need right now. What pleased us: At COCON 2023, this offer met with a great deal of interest, even from non-SAP users who had previously been convinced.
Our workshop turns HR professionals into rock stars
Human-centered design is not just a buzzword at sovanta. Especially in our workshops, customers get to know our way of working. In order to make this a tangible experience for visitors to COCON 2023, we have designed an interactive presentation. In just under an hour, our Design Thinking Coach Thomas Bechberger worked out with the participants how SAP HXM solutions turn HR professionals into real rock stars. Lisa Keller, Senior Project Manager at sovanta, also brought along a hands-on use case from a project with Allianz, thus providing direct practical relevance.

Whether after the workshop or at our booth, we were very pleased with the consistently positive feedback on the sovanta Offering. HR is currently on a journey and we look forward to accompanying it with the sovanta HXM Squad.
