UX Booster thanks to SAP SuccessFactors Extension
This use case shows how a targeted SAP SuccessFactors extension can become a real UX booster for Manager Self Services.
The starting point: Standard processes are not intuitive
The goal of the SuccessFactors implementation is to relieve the HR department. Managers should be able to initiate processes quickly and easily as self-services in the system. In practice, however, it quickly becomes clear that the standard processes in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central are not intuitive enough to be completed ad hoc.
What does our solution look like? Fully automated process
Usability tests are first used to identify the actual needs of managers within the system. A targeted extension is then implemented to simplify the use of Manager Self Services around promotions and similar processes in SAP SuccessFactors – while still staying very close to the standard.
