Staff Council Hearing
This use case shows how the involvement of the staff council in hiring processes is automated – from providing relevant candidate data to feeding the decision back into the system.
The starting point: Manual data maintenance
In new hires, the staff council must be involved. Previously, this was done manually: candidate data was exported from SAP SuccessFactors, and decisions were then transferredback into the system – a time-consuming and error-prone process.
What does our solution look like? Fully automated process
With SAP Build Process Automation and the SAP Integration Suite, the entire process is fully automated. All relevant data is transferred in real time, and the works council can review requests centrally via an intuitive SAPUI5 application, and approve or reject them. In three steps, this means:

- Eliminate Manual Effort
An automated solution replaces manual data handling to reduce effort and minimize errors – ensuring consistent and reliable processes. - Seamless System Integration
With SAP Build Process Automation and the SAP Integration Suite, all relevant information is transferred smoothly and in real time between systems. - Centralized and Efficient Approval Process
A user-friendly UI5 app, accessible via SAP Build Work Zone, allows the staff council to centrally review, approve, or reject requests – with decisions automatically and securely passed back to the target system.
The result? 50% faster feedback
All relevant data is fully exchanged in an automated and system-wide manner. This eliminates the need for manual entry or transfer of information between individual applications, thereby avoiding process disruptions, reducing errors, and making the entire process significantly more efficient and transparent.
In concrete terms: A central interface is available for managing all requests and enables 50% faster feedback. In addition, with Advanced Event Mesh, data is transmitted in real time.
