Happy Birthday, SAP AppHaus
For ten years, the SAP AppHaus has been serving as a driving force for innovation in the SAP world. And what is the secret to its success? Clearly, the focus is always on the users, with following the Human-Centered Way to Innovation. We are proud members of the SAP AppHaus Network, sharing the same mindset. And when the SAP AppHaus celebrates its birthday, we are, of course, part of it – even if there are three celebrations in one week. Here, we have summarized the birthday week from sovanta’s perspective.
Evening event with SoulHaus Band and Panel Discussion
Things kicked off with an exclusive evening event at the SAP AppHaus. The start couldn’t have been more successful, with the premiere of the SoulHaus Band – composed of employees from the SAP AppHaus. Andreas Hauser, SVP SAP AppHaus Network, impressed on the keyboard, and Svenja Müller, Program Manager, SAP AppHaus Network, surprised with a beautiful soulful voice. After words from Jürgen Müller, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Board Member, SAP SE (via video), and Anja Schneider, Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Board Area Technology and Innovation, the first entrance by sovanta followed: Christian Heinrich, board member of sovanta, was part of an engaging panel discussion. What impact does the SAP AppHaus have? What has it changed for us as a partner? And where is the journey going? We look optimistically to the future and are very grateful to have found a home in the SAP community within the SAP AppHaus Network.
Meetup and Workshop in the sovanta Innovation Factory
We are not alone but extremely thankful for the global network of SAP AppHaus partners. And that’s why it was clear to us that we would open our doors for a meetup of the SAP AppHaus Network right in the neighborhood of the SAP AppHaus. In three workstreams, we collaborated with international partners to refine our USP, forge strategies for the future of the network and engage in intensive discussions on various challenges. Following the workshop, the SAP AppHaus hosted a networking event, allowing us to conclude the evening together.
Public Event with GenAI Use Cases Discovery Workshop
At the end of the week, the public event at the AppHaus was on the agenda. Various interactive stations guided participants through the SAP AppHaus world: From an Escape Room to a Wish Tree and the challenge of placing different AppHaus partner logos on a map. At the sovanta booth, we provided information about our various workshop formats as an quick start on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and conducted a workshop on the topic of ‘GenAI,’ gathering various use cases. When is the use of GenAI worthwhile, and when is it not? The discussions indicate that the topic has gained traction in the SAP world, and we can look forward to exciting developments around the topic of Generative AI.
