Conditions for the contest

§ 1 Organizer

(1) The organizer of the contest is sovanta AG, based in Heidelberg. It is represented by the managing directors Claus Heinrich, Christian Heinrich and Michael Kern.

(2) This contest is not connected to Facebook or any other social media provider on which this contest may be announced.

§ 2 Contest

The organizer is holding a contest for participants of the AI Use Cases Webinar hosted by SAP and sovanta on October 1st via Zoom Webinars. For this purpose, the organizer has provided a prize and will award it to the winner in accordance with the following conditions.

§ 3 Participation

(1) The participant takes part in the contest by fulfilling the conditions of participation. This is in particular the proper completion of the provided survey (all required fields). The participant is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided.

(2) Participation in the contest is free of charge. No fee-based services are required for participation.

(3) Only one specific natural person may participate; legal persons may not participate. Multiple entries under pseudonyms or other e-mail addresses are not permitted and will result in exclusion from the contest.

(4) The requirements for participation must be met for the duration of the contest and submitted to the organizer in the manner offered. Participation by any other means than the one offered for participation (e.g. other e-mail address of the organizer) is excluded and will not be considered. Requests for participation submitted before or after this time will not be considered.

(5) By submitting their information, the participant agrees to register for the associated notifications by e-mail.

(6) Participation by minors with limited legal capacity is excluded.

§ 4 Duration of the contest

The contest begins on October 1st and ends on October 7 2024.

§ 5 Exclusion from the contest

The organizer is not liable for the availability of the survey. The organizer is also not liable for any transmission errors. The organizer reserves the right to terminate the contest prematurely in whole or in part at any time, even without observing deadlines, or to change the course of the contest if it is not possible to carry out the contest properly for technical (e.g. computer virus, manipulation of or errors in software and hardware) or legal reasons.

§ 6 Prizes

(1) The prize is a Use Case Exploration Workshop (3h) for maximum 10 participants worth €7,500,00.

(2) Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.

(3) Payment of the prize in cash, exchange of the prize or its transfer to other persons is not possible.

§ 7 Determination of the winner

(1) The winner will be determined by name draw on October 7 and informed by e-mail. sovanta will then find a time for the workshop with the winner and discuss everything around the workshop (e.g. if on-site or remote setup).

§ 8 Storage of personal data

The organizer collects and uses the data of the participants only to the extent permitted by law or with the consent of the participants (Art. 6 para. 1a EU GDPR).

The following data is collected from the participants by the organizer and is used for the design, implementation and processing of the contest: full name of the participant, e-mail address, company and role, .

Upon written or textual request, participants can request information from the organizer at any time about which personal data is stored by the organizer, can request its correction and deletion and can revoke data usage consents.

§ 9 Complaints, legal recourse

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Legal recourse is excluded.
