§ 1 Organizer

(1) The organizer of the sweepstakes is sovanta America Inc., based in Newtown Square. It is represented by the managing directors Claus Heinrich, Christian Heinrich and Akin Aritmac.

(2) This sweepstakes is not connected to Facebook or any other social media provider on which this contest may be announced.

§ 2 Sweepstakes

The organizer is holding a sweepstakes for participants of the ASUG Carolinas Chapter Spring Meeting in Raleigh, North Carolina on March 27 2026. For this purpose, the organizer has provided three prizes and will award it to the winner in accordance with the following conditions.

§ 3 Participation

(1) The participant takes part in the sweepstakes by fulfilling the conditions of participation. This is in particular the proper completion of the newsletter submission (all required fields, business email addresses only). The participant is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided.

(2) Participation in the sweepstakes is free of charge. No fee-based services are required for participation.

(3) Only one specific natural person may participate; legal persons may not participate. Multiple entries under pseudonyms or other e-mail addresses are not permitted and will result in exclusion from the contest.

(4) The requirements for participation must be met for the duration of the sweepstakes and submitted to the organizer in the manner offered. Participation by any other means than the one offered for participation (e.g. other e-mail address of the organizer) is excluded and will not be considered. Requests for participation submitted before or after this time will not be considered.

(5) By submitting their information, the participant agrees to register for the associated notifications by e-mail.

(6) Participation by minors with limited legal capacity is excluded.

§ 4 Duration of the sweepstakes

The sweepstakes begins on March 27 and ends on March 27 2026.

§ 5 Exclusion from the sweepstakes

The organizer is not liable for the availability of the form. The organizer is also not liable for any transmission errors. The organizer reserves the right to terminate the sweepstakes prematurely in whole or in part at any time, even without observing deadlines, or to change the course of the sweepstakes if it is not possible to carry out the sweepstakes properly for technical (e.g. computer virus, manipulation of or errors in software and hardware) or legal reasons.

§ 6 Prizes

(1) The first prize is an amazon gift card about 100$.
The second prize is an amazon gift card about 50$.
The third prize is an amazon gift card about 25$.

(2) Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.

(3) Payment of the prize in cash, exchange of the prize or its transfer to other persons is not possible.

§ 7 Determination of the winner

(1) The winner will be determined by name draw on March 27 and announced at the event.

§ 8 Storage of personal data

The organizer collects and uses the data of the participants only to the extent permitted by law or with the consent of the participants (Art. 6 para. 1a EU GDPR).

The following data is collected from the participants by the organizer and is used for the design, implementation and processing of the sweepstakes: full name of the participant, business e-mail address, company and role.

Upon written or textual request, participants can request information from the organizer at any time about which personal data is stored by the organizer, can request its correction and deletion and can revoke data usage consents.

§ 9 Complaints, legal recourse

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Legal recourse is excluded.
