sovanta opens AppHaus in Newtown Square
On September 15, 2026, the moment had finally arrived: We opened the doors to our new sovanta AppHaus Newtown Square. A moment we had been working toward for a long time – and a milestone we are incredibly proud of. Our journey began in Heidelberg in 2009. Today, we are bringing the sovanta spirit to the US – with our own AppHaus at the heart of the American SAP ecosystem and just minutes away from SAP’s Newtown Square campus.
or the Grand Opening, we had the pleasure of welcoming customers, SAP colleagues, partners, and guests from the regional business and technology community to our new home at 3407 West Chester Pike. The timing couldn’t have been better, with our Grand Opening taking place alongside the SAP Connect Days for AI & Data Leaders. Because this is exactly what we created this space for: to come together, develop ideas, tackle challenges, and turn innovation into reality.
Our new AppHaus is designed in the style of the sovanta Innovation Factory – and that is very intentional. This is not a place where we simply talk about innovation. It is a place where we work side by side with our customers to bring it to life. Our experts help teams identify the right use cases and turn them into tangible solutions using the latest AI technologies from SAP. “Others talk about agents. We build them.”
Three perspectives, one shared vision
Our Grand Opening kicked off with a joint welcome from Claus Heinrich, Founder & CEO of sovanta, Christian Heinrich, President sovanta America, and David Robinson, President SAP North America and Americas Customer Success Functions.
The stage then belonged to two long-standing sovanta customers: Sunil Guna, Senior Director ERP Platform Lead at Elanco, and Eric Lemmel, Managing Director at Endress+Hauser InfoServe. Both shared personal insights into their innovation work with us, reflected on their journeys so far, and showed what AI-powered business transformation looks like in their specific business contexts.

What started in Heidelberg in 2009 is now entering a new chapter in the US. For us, Newtown Square is much more than another office location. It is a place where our approach to innovation becomes visible, tangible, and something you can experience firsthand.
