In this blog post, he summarizes in five key points how deeply AI is already embedded in UX design and how consistently this approach is being implemented across the entire portfolio.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. The Shift: From App-Centric to Assistance-Driven UX<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>What has been emerging for some time is now becoming increasingly clear: SAP is shifting its UX away from individual applications toward a more context-driven, assistance-led experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the center of this shift is AI &#8211; not as an add-on, but as a new interaction layer. With <a href=\"https:\/\/sovanta.com\/en\/roadmap-to-joule\/\">Joule<\/a>, SAP is increasingly establishing natural language as the primary interface. SAP Build Work Zone and SAP Mobile Start as the New Entry Points<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The entry into the SAP ecosystem is also noticeably changing. With SAP Build Work Zone and SAP Mobile Start, SAP continues to expand central entry points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The idea behind this is actually simple &#8211; but effective: users should no longer have to actively search for information. Instead, they are provided with tasks, notifications, and relevant content directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"image-card-with-buttonblock_4ae72602e8f7f3443b4539d73f6cec61\" class=\"block__image-card-with-button -detect-in-viewport has-background has-seashell-background-color image-card\">\n      \n  \n\n<p><strong>AI takes on the role of a &#8220;filter&#8221;:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What is important right now?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What should I do next?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What information do I need in the current context?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. S\/4HANA &amp; SAP Fiori: AI Directly Embedded in the Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This development becomes especially visible in S\/4HANA Cloud and the SAP Fiori Launchpad. The focus is less on individual features and more on the interplay between usability and intelligence. With elements such as \u201cMy Home,\u201d simplified navigation, and AI-based recommendations, the interface is not only becoming cleaner, but also significantly more helpful in day-to-day work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"image-card-with-buttonblock_4ae72602e8f7f3443b4539d73f6cec61\" class=\"block__image-card-with-button -detect-in-viewport has-background has-seashell-background-color image-card\">\n      \n  \n\n<p><strong>The key point:<br><\/strong>AI is no longer \u201cnext to\u201d the process &#8211; it is part of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. From Assistance to Automation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A particularly interesting step is the evolution of AI from pure assistance toward true automation. Features such as task automation illustrate where this is heading: recurring tasks can increasingly be handled by the system itself. AI-driven UX across the entire SAP portfolio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Another notable aspect is that this development is not limited to individual products, but runs through the entire SAP portfolio. Whether in HR with SAP SuccessFactors, in planning with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), in external workforce management with SAP Fieldglass, or in SAP Analytics Cloud &#8211; UX is being increasingly standardized and enriched with AI across the board.
